John Bowe
As School Committee Rep, Mr. Bowe has an in-depth knowledge of the school departments capital (and non-capital) needs and priorities. Since he knows many of the administrative staff fairly well, he can call on them to answer questions and get honest, detailed answers on capital questions and how they affect operations and students. Mr. Bowe also has a lot of contact with parents and other committees, which helps guide prioritization.
Mark Clark
Mr. Clark has been a Belmont Resident and homeowner since 1969. He has been a Town Meeting Member since 1979 as well as past chairman of the Warrant Committee. Mr. Clark is a partner specializing in secured transactions and insolvency in a large Boston law firm with more than eleven years in firm management, seven of them a co-managing partner. He is also a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
John Conte
Mr. Conte is the Senior Vice President and Group leader for TD Banknorth Government Banking Team in Massachusetts and Vermont. He is responsible for providing banking services, products, and solutions to help Government entities meet their financial needs. Mr. Conte is also a former municipal Treasurer/Collector.
Anne Marie Mahoney
Mrs. Mahoney spent 12 years on the School Committee, including 2 years as chair. Among her many accomplishments during this time was the replacement of the Chenery Middle School. She was personally involved in most stages of construction. Mrs. Mahoney also had a 4 1/2 year term on the Board of Selectmen, including 6 months as Chair and at least 2 years as representative to the CBC.
