The Recreation Department offers two exciting and fun classes to help you get in shape
or stay that way and have a blast while you do it!
Zumba
At the Beech St Center, Wednesdays, 7:30-8:30 pm
The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!
Session 1: Sept. 14-Nov. 16

Muscle Mix
Need to tone up? This class is designed to help you create the fabulously fit, long, lean and strong body you would love to achieve. A full hour of total body conditioning targeting all muscle groups, legs, shoulders, chest, back, glutes, biceps, triceps, abs and core. Muscle toning is a great way to take inches off your measurements. Muscle toning is highly recommended to those who enroll in a weight loss program because it helps retain lean muscle tissue while boosting the metabolism. Any fitness level can enroll. Strong, toned muscles increase your metabolism and burns calories throughout the day. A broad range of fitness participants will enjoy this class because it is moderately paced and safe, yet effective.
Bring a set of hand wieghts (5-8lbs), a stability ball, water bottle, sneakers and a mat if you have one!
